We pair kids with caring adult volunteers who tutor and mentor them in the spirit of Christ. Whiz Kids is instrumental in providing extra literacy and math help to struggling students.  The majority of our tutoring takes place within the Denver Metro area, but we also have tutoring locations in Aurora, Jefferson County and Littleton. Whiz Kids coordinates these one-on-one tutoring sessions for multiple pairs of volunteers and students at host sites - typically in urban churches. These relationships improve self-esteem and foster a sense of accomplishment among the students we serve. Whiz Kids has seen improved reading scores through the tutor/student relationship. Tutoring not only makes a difference, it's also fun!
